Our Champion Tomcat Itzibibi
Our Singapura tomcat Itzibibi is one of the special protagonists in our cattery. With his full title NW’23 GIC K&K Itzibibi JW, he combines not only an impressive list of awards but is above all a wonderful character and the proud father of our little kings.
Origin and the Story of His Name
Our Singapura tomcat Itzibibi came into the world on May 7, 2022. He was bred in the renowned Swiss K&K Cattery, which explains the “K&K” abbreviation in his name. His full name is more than just a string of letters; it tells a story.
- GIC stands for Grand International Champion,
- NW’23 for National Winner 2023, and
- JW for Junior Winner.
These titles are the result of hard work and top ratings at international shows, conducted according to the strict rules of the world umbrella organization FIFe. The fact that he was crowned National Winner in 2023 is a special honor and is even officially documented by clubs like Katzenfreunde Bayern .
And the name “Itzibibi”? It is as unique as he is. It’s a playful creation, reminiscent of the English “Itsy Bitsy” (very small), perfectly suiting his breed as the smallest cat breed in the world. The affectionate, childlike endings “-itzi” and “-bibi” make the name a true feel-good name that reflects his charming personality.
A Champion with Character
What makes a Singapura stud cat like Itzibibi so special? It’s the perfect blend of external beauty and inner values. As a Grand International Champion, he brings not only the typical, delicate sepia coat and large, expressive eyes but also a balanced and friendly nature that is so characteristic of the breed.
Itzibibi is curious, people-oriented, and has a calm, dignified aura that you feel immediately when you meet him. At the same time, he is a playful tomcat who attentively observes his surroundings and likes to be part of the action. His titles as Junior Winner and National Winner confirm that he has captured not only our hearts but also the hearts of the judges.
Anyone lucky enough to meet Itzibibi in person quickly realizes: this cat has personality. He’s not an animal that stays in the background. Itzibibi seeks contact, demands attention – and rewards you with a deep, contented purr. This very mixture of elegance and closeness makes him a perfect representative of his breed.
As a stud cat, Itzibibi contributes not only his physical attributes. His temperament, his calmness, and his social nature are qualities we wish for every future generation. For us, it’s not just about the external standard – character is equally important.

In our “von Baden” cattery, Itzibibi plays a central role. Together with our breeding queen Lucie My Swiss Spirit, he has already given us two wonderful litters. The first litter arrived on March 10, 2025, and the second on January 4, 2026. His offspring inherit not only his beautiful appearance but hopefully also his balanced nature. It’s a joy to watch his little kings grow up and explore the world.
Our Pride
For us, Singapura tomcat Itzibibi is far more than just a successful show cat. He is a family member, a friend, and an important part of our breeding philosophy, which is based on health, socialization, and transparency. Each of his titles, every award, is a wonderful confirmation that we are on the right track with our passion for this special breed.
