Today they turn exactly 13 weeks old – and weigh between 1000 and 1200 grams. Tiny, but full of energy. The perfect Easter gift, not hiding under any bush, but wherever adventure awaits.

Our Singapura kittens – wild play and hunting
What do our Singapura kittens love most? Playing chase. They race wildly through the living room, hide behind the scratching tree, stalk each other – and then they sprint. In a flash they zoom around corners, brake abruptly, and start the next pursuit. It’s a wonderful chaos of flying paws and raised tails.
Lucie, our experienced mom, always keeps an eye on everything. Sometimes she sits up high watching over the game like a friendly supervisor. Other times she can’t resist – she joins right in. She chases her own children, and you can see her joy. This little family is simply full of life.
Why the world’s smallest cat breed is so special
The Singapura is officially the world’s smallest cat breed. Weighing only two to three kilograms, it stays delicate all its life. But don’t be fooled: behind the tiny stature is an athletic bundle of energy with impressive jumping power.
In our Singapura cattery von Baden, we place the highest value on ethical standards. The cattery is registered with FIFe – the only association we name. Regular health checks, complete vaccination prophylaxis, and early neutering before placement are part of our solid standard.
Singapura kittens are extremely social and need companionship. Therefore, we never place them alone, but preferably in households with existing Singapura or other well‑suited cats. Indoor living with plenty of climbing opportunities is ideal for this breed – outdoor access is not an option for our cats.
Against closed doors
As harmonious as the cuddling may be – there is one thing our Singapura kittens absolutely hate: closed doors. They have long figured out that behind every door lies a new room with new adventures.
That’s why they position themselves skillfully to the side of the door. As soon as you turn the handle and open a crack – zoom! – they slip through. They dart into the kitchen, the bedroom, the bathroom. Every room is thoroughly sniffed, every corner inspected.
