The New Favorite Spot of Our Three Kings
There’s suddenly so much life in the house! Where there used to be only quiet mewing and cuddling in the nest, now you can hear the gentle pitter-patter of tiny paws. Our three Singapura kittens have reached a wonderful new phase: They’re discovering their world.
Just recently, we watched as one of the little tomcats – with the curiosity of a true explorer – took his first wobbly steps away from the safe sleeping spot. His siblings, always nearby, followed shortly after. What began cautiously turned into real exploration tours within hours. Now they’re not just walking, but occasionally even running short distances.
What Our Little Ones Learn in Their First Weeks
A special moment for us as breeders is always the transition to solid food. A few days ago, we placed a shallow bowl of kitten food. First, there was extensive sniffing and cautious inspection. But driven by instinct and the encouraging presence of their mother, they began nibbling at it. Now you can see three little sepia-colored heads over the bowl several times a day.
They’ve also discovered water. Since then, they keep curiously tasting it with their tongues. Another sign that the Singapura kittens are growing up healthy and learning everything they need.

When the Little Ones Get Tired from Playing
And then comes the moment we captured in today’s photo: After all the exploring, romping, and nibbling, the little paws get heavy. The eyelids droop. And where do tired Singapura kittens go? Of course, to the warmest and coziest spot they know.
Today’s photo shows the three kings resting on their hammock in front of the heater after an exciting day. Curled up close together, they’re sleeping the sleep of the innocent. The warmth of the heater gently rises, the hammock softly rocks them – a perfect spot for the smallest representatives of their kind to gather new strength.
The Parents of Our Little Ones
And throughout all this, their mother is always nearby. Her role has changed: From the all-providing mom, she’s become an attentive supervisor. She watches her little ones’ excursions with a watchful but loving eye. If one wanders too far, she’s immediately there, gently guiding it back with a soft purr.
And he’s always there too: Our main breeding tom and proud father observes the daily chaos with calm composure. He doesn’t interfere with the upbringing, but his steady presence does the whole family good. This is how our Singapura kittens grow up surrounded by love and the best role models.

Many interested people ask us: When can the little ones move out? Generally, our Singapura kittens move to their new homes at 14 weeks at the earliest – but usually a little later. By then, they’ve been vaccinated, checked by the veterinarian, and have completed all important socialization steps.
