Happy Easter

Happy Easter from the Singapura Bunnies … Uh, We Mean Cats!

Spring sunshine, Easter bells – and in our home, Itzibibi is prancing around as the proud “Easter Bunny”! Donning his fluffy bunny ears (yes, he’s owning the camera) and a grin that screams, “Behold, the carrot king is here!”, he and the kittens are stealing the spotlight. The other cats stare in confusion: “Papa, what’s on your head … and where’s our snack?!”

Easter Antics Only Cats Could Pull Off

  • Itzibibi’s Fashion Moment: The ears tilt sideways during a snack-sprint – but he rocks them with messy pride.
  • Lucie’s Pro Tip: “Cats don’t do egg hunts … unless the eggs are feather toys!”
  • The Kitten Squad: Stalk the “Easter Bunny’s” every hop and judge the decor. “Plastic clover? Not claw-ver enough!”

The Feast

Of course, there’s egg-stra special Easter food – chicken in “sunrise” gravy, salmon nibbles with herb sprinkles, and … no chocolate! (We’re responsible paw-rents. )

Happy Easter to All Humans and Furballs!*

May your nests be full of toys, your baskets cozy, and your Easter days … purr-fectly chill!

PS from Itzibibi:* “The ears stay till Christmas. Fight me.”

Cat Wheel

Living Room Circus: Our Kittens Spin (Literally!) into Fun!

The Singapura babies have found their newest obsession: the *cat wheel! What started as wobbly toe-taps has turned into dizzying spins – sometimes zooming forward, sometimes whirling backward, and occasionally … just sitting there, wondering why the world’s moving without them. Between wheel adventures, they conquer the *cat tree like tiny mountaineers: yawning at the summit, scratching midway, napping in the “leafy jungle” below!

Lucie’s Diary of Adorable Chaos

  • The Whirlwind: Tripped over his own tail, then zoomed on like it was part of the plan!
  • The Nap Queen: Discovered the top branch is perfect for dreams … and spying on snack time.
  • The Cave Goblin: Hides in “Cat Hell” (the plush tunnel) and meows triumphantly when no one finds him. “Haha, stealth mode activated!”

Mama Lucie eyes the wheel like a ticking time bomb: “Not too fast, my darlings!” – while Papa Itzibibi comments from his bookshelf throne: “Back in my day, wheels were for mice … but okay, this is kinda fun.”

The Aftermath

  • The cat wheel now sports tiny claw confetti (thanks, baby nails!).
  • The cat tree is officially “claimed” – the higher, the snoozier!
  • “Hell” is the new headquarters … at least until the next treat bag rustles.

Kitten Chatter: “Pssst … we’re practicing world domination. Step 1: Spin the wheel to MAX SPEED!”

Ring clear!

Tonight’s Episode: Living Room Mayhem with Purr-power!

Today was a milestone: The Singapura kittens had their first grand tour of the living room – and what an adventure! While the little ones zoomed across rugs like fuzzy pinballs, investigated under tables, and declared every dust bunny “prey,” Mama Lucie sat slightly tense in the corner. Her eyes screamed: “Oh dear, why aren’t they all in the nesting box?!”

Lucie’s Mission: Kitten-Rescuer Extraordinaire*

In fast-forward:

  1. Climbing Champion scales the curtains – Lucie sprints, gently plucks him down.
  2. Cuddle Princess discovers a shoebox – Lucie frantically grooms every kitten that dives inside.
  3. Mini Pirates raid the couch cushions – Lucie sighs, carries them back … only to watch them bolt away instantly.

But between her worried glances, Lucie’s pride shines through: “My babies are just the bravest explorers!” And Papa *Itzibibi? He’s lounging on the bookshelf, thinking: *“Eh, I’ll jump in if it gets too wild. Maybe.”

Tonight’s Verdict

  • The kittens are now asleep … like tiny rocks.
    (After 47 rounds of “Chase-the-Pencil-Tip!”)
  • Lucie’s dreaming of a magical kitten forcefield.
  • We’ve taken 100 new photos –
because who could resist this adorable chaos?

PS from Lucie:* “Tomorrow, HALF the living room. Deal?”

Our Five Little Miracles

Kitten | Singapura.de von Baden

Something big is growing here – our five Singapura kittens are discovering the world anew every day! With curious paws, their first attempts to climb the sofa ladder, and loud “meows,” they create a turbulent, heartwarming chaos. And while the little ones bravely test their claws, mom cat Lucie and dad Itzibibi keep an eye on everything – each in their own unique way.

Lucie: The Caring Supermom

Lucie always keeps an eye on her wild bunch. Whether the little ones are crawling too boldly, getting tangled up in the curtain, or overdoing it while playing – she’s there in a heartbeat. With gentle grooming, soothing purrs, and a “Hold me tight” meow, she brings the rascals back down to earth. But despite all her worries, pride also shines through: “My little ones are getting braver every day!”

Itzibibi: From cool tomcat to sweetheart dad

At first, dad Itzibibi kept a respectful distance, but the bigger the kittens get, the more his cool tomcat heart melts. Now he patiently lets them nibble on his ears, brings toys, and shows the little explorers how to gracefully jump onto the scratching post. His latest passion? Calming the little ones down with gentle head nudges after wild games of chase – the secret softie he is!

The Kitten Crew: Everyone’s a character!

  1. The Daredevil: First to climb to the top of the bookshelf – and meows loudly for help when it gets too high.
  2. The Cuddle Queen: Between climbing breaks, she always looks for Lucie’s belly as a place to feed her.
  3. The Curious Nose: Inspects every box with huge eyes – and Itzibibi’s tail.
  4. The Screamer: Announces every find (feather, food crumb, shadow) with operatic arias.
  5. The Silent Observer: First studies everything closely… until he suddenly zips across the room like a rubber ball!

They grow together – with every paw!

Every day, the quintuplets learn more: using their claws with precision, not tripping over their own paws while running, and competing as a team for the best toy. Lucie teaches them cat etiquette (“You groom yourself BEFORE eating!”), Itzibibi coaches them in coolness (“A tomcat doesn’t flinch when the vacuum cleaner hums!”).

What’s next?

The world is getting bigger! Soon, the kittens will conquer their first scratching posts, learn to chase treat balls, and develop their unique voices – from the gentle purring of their noses to the demanding “WHERE’S MY FOOD?” trills. We’ll keep you updated… because this family album writes itself!

P.S. Lucie asked us to emphasize: “Don’t worry – I won’t let the rascals out of my sight!” Itzibibi adds: “And if they do… I’ll jump in. Always.”

The First Magical Moments!

Kitten | Singapura.de von Baden

Lucie’s Kittens Open Their Eyes

It’s incredible how time flies: Our five little Singapura kittens are already 6 days old and thriving! The largest of the bunch now weighs an impressive 150 grams and has reached a special milestone today – it opened its eyes for the very first time! This is a magical moment we’ve been eagerly waiting for, and we can’t wait to see the other four follow suit.

Lucie, the devoted mama, is tirelessly caring for her little ones day and night. She’s always on alert and rushes to their side the moment one of them lets out even the tiniest squeak. Her attentiveness and dedication are truly admirable – she’s a supermom in every sense!

Itzibibi, the proud papa, was initially a bit skeptical and kept his distance. But now, he watches the kittens as often as he can and also shows concern when one of them makes a sound. He amplifies the alarm by meowing loudly and pacing back and forth, looking at us and Lucie as if to ask, “Who’s going to help?” But when things get serious, he tends to retreat – typical tomcat behavior!

We could watch these little bundles of joy for hours and are so excited for the next stages: when all of them open their eyes, start to crawl, and begin exploring their surroundings. The coming weeks will be full of exciting moments – the first wobbly steps, curious sniffing, and playful discoveries.

Stay tuned, as we’ll keep you updated regularly with photos and stories! Be sure to visit our website Singapura.de or check out our social media channels to follow every step of their journey.

Lucie Has Given Birth!

Kitten | Singapura.de von Baden

Yesterday, on March 10, 2025, the big moment finally arrived: Our beloved Singapura cat Lucie gave birth to five healthy and well-nourished kittens! We are overjoyed and so proud of our little mama, who handled everything beautifully and of the papa Itzibibi as well.

The five little miracles were born weighing around 85 grams each – tiny but healthy and full of energy. For now, they look so similar that it’s almost impossible to tell them apart. Their little bodies are covered in a fine, soft fuzz, and their tiny paws and tails are absolutely adorable.

Lucie is a caring and attentive mother. If you take one of the kittens out of the nesting box, even just to weigh it, it immediately starts squeaking. And Lucie is right there – keeping a close eye on things and quickly bringing her little one back to the safety of the nest. It’s truly amazing to see how instinctively she fulfills her role as a mother and cares for her babies.

The first few days are especially crucial, so we’re giving Lucie and her kittens all the peace and comfort they need. The nesting box is in a warm, quiet spot, and Lucie always has fresh water and high-quality food nearby. We’re closely monitoring the little ones’ progress and can’t wait to watch them grow and explore their world.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll share regular updates – from their first steps and the opening of their eyes to their first playful attempts. Stay tuned and follow the journey of our little Singapura family here on our blog or on our social media channels.

Thank you for sharing this special moment with us!

Ultrasonic

Ultraschall | Singapura.de von Baden

A Day Full of Excitement and Pawsitive Anticipation!

Today was a special day for our delicate, sweet Singapura cat *Lucie: her *first vet visit to check up on her little ones! With nervous excitement and hearts full of curiosity, we accompanied our soon-to-be mama to the ultrasound appointment – and were met with a delightful surprise!

What the vet shared

“Lucie is carrying at least three healthy kittens – but don’t be surprised if five tiny paw-some miracles make their debut!”

The ultrasound clearly showed three lively mini Singapuras already wiggling around. Could there be two more hidden treasures tucked away in her belly? The vet smiled mysteriously: “Nature will reveal that at the right time.”

Lucie’s Big Little Adventure

Our dainty Lucie, a true masterpiece of elegance and gentleness, handled the appointment like a pro mama. During the ultrasound, she purred calmly – almost as if saying, “Everything’s fine, they’re in loving paws here!” Despite her petite frame, she radiates incredible calm and grace.

What’s next?

The anticipation is soaring! We’re preparing a cozy nesting box for Lucie at her favorite spot and watching daily for signs of the big day. Whether three or five kittens arrive – one thing’s certain: each of these little ones will be a unique marvel with that signature Singapura charm – playful, affectionate, and carrying a spark of tropical joy in their hearts!

Singapura von Baden – Where Tiny Dreams Grow Big

We’ll keep you updated every step of the way and can’t wait to share the magical first moments of the newest Singapura generation with you. Stay tuned, because right here … pawsome family additions are on the horizon!
